Sunday School
About Our Congregation
At St. Alban’s, children are a joyful and important part of our parish life. Our Sunday School program helps children grow in faith through age-appropriate learning, prayer, and community, all within the life of the church.
When We Meet
Sunday School takes place every Sunday during the 10:00 a.m. service. Children begin the morning together for their lesson before joining the rest of the congregation.
What to Expect
Each week, children explore Bible stories and Christian themes through discussion, hands-on activities, and prayer. The program is designed to be welcoming, engaging, and supportive, encouraging children to ask questions and deepen their understanding of God’s love.
First-Sunday Kids’ Mass
On the first Sunday of each month, the 10:00 a.m. service is a special Kids’ Mass. During this service, children are invited to take an active role in worship, with opportunities to participate in age-appropriate ways. This helps children feel at home in church and experience the joy of worship as part of the congregation.
Program Leadership
Sunday School is led by Joyce Gavin and Father Tim Gavin, who work together to create a warm, faith-filled environment for children and families.
