What is 'Fellowship Support'?

At St. Alban’s, fellowship is an important part of our life together. Church is not only a place where we worship together, but a community where friendships are formed, meals are shared, laughter is plentiful, and we support one another through the joys and challenges of life. There are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to get together, have some fun, and simply enjoy one another’s company.

Fellowship Support Groups

COFFEE HOUR

Coffee Hour is one of the most important parts of our Sunday morning life. Each week after the 10:00 a.m. service, we gather for coffee, refreshments, and conversation. Our Coffee Hosts help make this time possible, creating a welcoming space where longtime members and newcomers alike can get to know one another.

PARISH LIFE & HOSPITALITY

Parish Life & Hospitality brings us together throughout the year for special events and celebrations. These include our parish picnics, summer tailgates, game nights, Quizzo, young adult dinners, excursions to local places of interest, and other opportunities to spend time together outside of worship.

LADIES' LUNCH

Ladies’ Lunch offers the women of St. Alban’s a regular opportunity to gather for good food, conversation, and friendship.

We also celebrate the seasons of the year together with traditions like our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Breakfast with Santa. During Advent, members of St. Alban’s also gather to go Christmas caroling at a local nursing home, sharing some Christmas cheer with our neighbors. Other special gatherings and celebrations take place throughout the year.

We are also working toward establishing a Men’s Ministry, creating another opportunity for fellowship, conversation, and connection within our parish.

Even our Parish Cleanup Days become occasions for fellowship. There is something about working side by side to care for the place we share that brings people together, usually with plenty of conversation and laughter along the way.

At St. Alban’s, we believe that building community happens around the altar, but it also happens around the coffee pot, across the dinner table, at a picnic, and while simply spending time together. Our Fellowship Ministries help make St. Alban’s not just a church we attend, but a community where we belong.
